Spiritual Warfare

Sunday, March 28, 2010

In the past several months, I have been battling spiritual warfare, like many of you. Right now I am at the end of my rope, on my last nerve, and wanting to call it quits. Its just too much of late. The more I give, the more they expect. My dearest friend is going through the same battle. I wish it would end today. Its more than I can bear. I know alot of my problem is, I have no way to keep mind as active as I once did. I miss work and the challenge. Sorry dont mean to cry on your shoulder. I am just venting,I guess. Thanks for the pep talk ladyc, I appreciate it.

Even though it is overwhelming, remember YOU ARE WORTH all of the effort to keep going. FOcus on the Lord and He will help you through. I, too, am feeling overwhelmed at the moment. SO I am talking to myself too! emoticon

I can give you many pieces of encouragement, but the best one that I can is for you is

We all have a place to be in God's plan. Sometimes it is to be there to give the encouragement or share a piece of scripture, sometimes it is to be there to receive the scripture or the encouragement.

    Hebrews 13:5b
"I will never leave you nor forsake you."

I shall keep you in prayer.

God must have something particularly special in the process concerning you. Remember having done all to stand, stand! You can't do it, but Jesus can. Lean on Him. Trust Him. Remember the storm and the waves when Jesus walked on the water? Peter was able to walk on top of the waves as long as he kept his focus on Jesus. When he turned His focus to the waves He began to sink. Focus on Jesus not the trials. You are an overcomer. You have the victory. It's just a matter of clinging to God's promises until they manifest.
I understand how hard and painful all this can be. Read James 1:2-3. I am praying for you. God bless you! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Been there, more often than I care to think about! For me, it's essential to take time to pray and reflect, to put on the whole armor of God. Then I ask (remember ask, seek, knock?) for the help to do what I'm supposed to do and to turn over the rest to Him.

I don't know if that helps, but it may help to know that others see these things as a spiritual struggle as well.

    Bless you!

You know when you are under attack you are about to do something that satan really doesn't want you to do. Something powerful for good. So keep fighting through it and mess him over.
