Sunday Morning...

Hey Hey...Good Morning!

Moving a little slow after yesterday's Chiropractor adjustment, I'm good still moving for sure...but I was feeling it last night...just kinda tender. Looks like I might have tweeked where the rib meets and connect to the spine...something like that...maybe too much one armed dumbell work on this one day a few weeks ago and/or a combo of getting inand out of the trucks...so, slow and steady but keep it moving.

I can't say enough, ever about how Annette has been such a blessing in my life and yesterday she introduced me to another wonderful person, Bob Zimmerman, chiropractor working here in the Madison/Middleton area...really great guy, fired up, fun and extremely kind. I really felt like there was another home-run hitter on my team after meeting him yesterday.

Slept in until about 7 today, did my sit-ups and my morning walk...I've got a bunch of work to do but I know Cindy and maybe me too, need a day off...we really need a vacation eventually...just to get away and relax, have some fun together w/out the never-ending routine...I'm not complaining at all, I love how I am and what we do...but 7 days a week for going on 8 years grinds on ya sometimes. So it's gonna happen just as soon as I can manage it...we are gonna go stay someplace, even if it's just down the street at the hilton to start...but we are gonna become travelers', all in due time!

My Dad and I have really both worked hard at letting go of the past and both of us in our ways have also been working on making healthy changes and our relationship has really moved to a level that feels so nice and easy and that I enjoy and so as things change and it's really good to have that connection with him. He came through yesterday and we hung out on the porch getting this new birdfeeder installed, talking about the plan Cindy & I have for growing basil this year...here are a few pics...

A few small pansies we planted up a week or so back and some starter basil plants that Cindy picked up yesterday too. We're going to split each basil pot up into 3, so just with those she bought, we'll end up with 6 plants that we'll plant up with plenty of space and hopefully be able to have enough going all summer for pesto, salads etc...

So I'm gonna get some work done and meander through my Sunday with a grateful heart and an open spirit, trying to be more gentle & move w/more grace!

Have a great Sunday, Ryan

I'm glad the chiropractor turned out to be such a good guy!! I hope your back heals up soon. Beautiful pics! Sitting on the porch has to be one of the best things to do, especially in that beautiful area!

Glad to hear things are going well and you are still movinĀ“! That was one of my 1st SP goals - move more! I love fresh basil! When it is ready to harvest, remember it can be frozen - just chop it up, put in a ziploc, freeze. Works great! I do that with celery leaves, parsley and cilantro too.

    Have a great new week!
