Future walk...Great Wall of China!

Spark People is helping me to change habits. Exercise, portion control, and going to the doctor to keep track of cholesterol, etc....because of SP, I now am making sure to do whatever I can to keep myself healthy. I am also learning how to deal with stress in a healthy way.
Travel this year has also helped me to keep on track. The walking that I do on EVERY international trip (and there are 6 in 10 months' time this year) makes me feel so much better. I have continued the walking at home. It's now easier since I have lost 26 pounds, and I expect to see even more improvement as I lose more.
Just got a phone call the other day...and my walking in July...will take place in China! I am so psyched. This is a part of the world I have never seen! I'll be presenting at a convention, and joining other teachers who will soon lead their first trips with students. Sharing my expertise, and enjoying this travel experience with other teachers will be amazing. Add that to the student trip with my husband, daughter, son-in-law, niece, and nephew in June and my trip to Ireland with my husband and friends in August...and it will be quite a summer!
Goals? Lose 9 more pounds by June 20th (next departure date)...and 10 more pounds by the end of the summer. Can I do it? You bet!
