On my birthday, I take time for reflection on what is important in my life.

Don't just count your years, make your years count. Ernest Meyers

What matters most in life? My faith, my family and friends and my health. These are the things I want to focus on. "Life is not a dress rehearsal." What I do each day is what is important. Today on my birthday and everyday I want to not focus on my age, but focus on the things in my life that are important. Meditate daily and spend time with Jesus my special friend, spend time with family and friends, take care of my body and stay healthy by eating well and exercising regularly.

These are the things that matter the most to me and as Sparkpeople reminds me I shall make my daily life into a reflection of these ideas, beliefs and attitudes.

It's great to celebrate your life...

... and to know what is important to you

    ... and to be grateful.
