Climbing out of a slump.

This last weekend of food and lots of picture taking threw me completely off. Seeing pictures of myself and not liking them one bit was not good for my psyche. Although I know I have made progress, I am not anywhere close to where I would like to be so that kind of took me down.

Today, I fought back and didn't let food get me or any excuses to not exercise. Now I'm going to climb into bed and stay there. I'm tired enough so hopefully I'll fall asleep before hunger pains kick in and drive me to the kitchen to munch.

Not gonna do it!!!

Remember it is one step at a time, Just knowing what you have to do and doing it is the biggest challenge. I'm right there with you. I need to get control of my eating. and without that control no matter what I do, it will not make a difference to my appearance.

Good luck on this part of you journey, just remember we are all here and this is the time that we all need each other

Some days are better than others, my friend. Sounds like yesterday was a good day. Glad to hear that.

Isn't it amazing how quickly we can be taken down by pictures or clothes. Yesterday I had one of those moments. I was wearing my comfy sweats, meaning big, and was out in the yard with my son. It was hot and he wanted to run around playing "Star Wars" I didn't have the energy at the end of the day... then caught a reflection of myself in a window and thought. I feel as big as a house...

I know logically I'm not, I'm smaller than I have been for years, but that stinking thinking rose to the top...

hang in there. You will and are winning this battle.

You can do it. Look at the progress you have made. There will always be vacations, holiday, parties, and it's ok to induldge now and then. If you don't you will get burnt out. Just keep moving forward one day at a time.

You & Me both, I too have to really keep myself tethered to my plan and not stay in the funk of discouragement. It's seems like a regular part of my journey, so...I'm getting better and better at navigating my way right back to healthy choices! Thank you buddy!
