I'm doing my part today, back to basics...following my plan and really feeling so much more accepting of myself. Obviously having a set-back with gaining weight instead of losing is a huge bummer, but the lessons that came from this might end up being far more valuable for the long run. I've got my 50 sit-ups in early this morning along with my early morning walk, just finished up a session of intervals(back/shoulders/abs) and tonight I'll do another walk.
Annette came through yesterday with a very clear plan for my exercise schedule over the next few weeks, Cindy & I have our meal plan locked down and I'm feeling a-ok about going forward and making up for lost progress.
Annette came over early around 4pm yesterday before Dr. Bob at 5:30pm, and she had the coolest surprise gift for me....new boxing gloves and training pads for catching punches. I had brought up the idea a month or so back of buying that gear in the spirit of having another alternative/option for cardio/strength training/stress relief....so I was just so touched by this gift. It was a tough emotional day, and it felt great to put the gloves on and throw hard punches...really good work-out too!
The support I get from the people reading my blog, man...it's just so important to me...it's giving me the "apart of" feeling that I really need...thank you!
