Peachtree Roadrace Training Update

Today I ran 4.8 miles and could have run over 5 with ease. So I am definitely on track for 6.2 by July 4.
Still slow, but I don't care. My time is not important. I just want to finish without walking, and I think I will be able to do that.
I'm a bit frustrated at not losing any weight last week - I have 3 more lousy pounds to go to make it an even 50, and I can't seem to lose them....even though I have about 30 - 35 more to lose, even after that! I can't really cut my eating any lower. In fact, lately I have been hungry alot, which hasn't been the case all along. I am eating between 1300 and 1500 calories a day and that should be enough, I would think, since I am only 5'3". But I really hate being hungry....AND not losing any weight.
Still, I'm not going to let that deter me in my running program. I just have to believe that eventually I will start losing again.
