Mother's day

Happy Mother's day to all.

I may not have any human children, but I do have furbabies.
Right now, my Snickers is not happy that today I brought home a new furbaby. Went to PetSmart to get litter and the grey kitty looked just like Smoke. I couldn't resist. He's not as long haired but he is very personable. He is about 14 months old and small-he should not get much bigger either. The shelter had his name as Billy, but I will come up with something I like better.

This week's weight wasn't good. Not sure why it went back up. The only bad day was today when Mom and I went out for Italian. And even then I didn't totally blow it. I also did my first day of water walking this week-and was very sore. I will have to decrease the minutes and build up a little more gradually.

The parking at work is still a thorn in the side. Tuesday I have a doctor's appointment so I will work from home after that since I won't be able to find a parking space unless I hit lunch hour right. This doctor is my dermatologist for my annual skin check-I am a melanoma survivor and I only have to do one visit a year now-at 7 years post surgery.

I will be visiting the vet with the new kitty this week too.

Hope your Mother's day was a good one and have a good week!

Welcome home, new furbaby! (You'll get over it, Snicker bar.)

How 'bout we offer lousy suggestions for the Smoke-a-like? Fire? Soot? Fog? Maybe I need a picture to get inspired...
