full sunshine here today and not as cold! i went outside quite a few times to enjoy the wonderful change in weather. had an enjoyable mother's day yesterday. decided to stay home and just order in some supper. i got to the gym today and had a great cardio workout! my daughter is such a smart, sweet girl. she can remember things that happened, in detail, two weeks ago or more. she can even remember things from when she was much younger. the doctor said that means she is a very smart child. there is a book fair at my daughter's school today and tomorrow. i wonder which book she will choose. since she spends so much time with her grandparents, i will be transferring her to a school closer to their place. their place is like a second home for her. my husband is all for it. he wants our daughter to be happy and to be somewhere where she can get a wonderful education and be near her grandparents. she got a wonderful start to her education at the school she is in now. she was also sharing the class with the senior kindergarten students, who will be going on to grade 1 this september. at the new school, two days a week will be full days for my daughter at school. she can come home for lunch on those days. the other three days will be half days. one week, it will be in the mornings that she goes on the other three days. the following week, she will be going in the afternoon, from what i understand. she wants to go to the new school that is close to her grandparents place. she likes this one, but she wants to go there more. there was a chance of her being bumped in september, and i did not want her to have to go far away to school. she can make friends pretty easily. so she will be able to adjust to her new school. in the meantime, she is enjoying each and every day of school she goes to. she does not want to miss any more time from school. the school she will be going to has about the same number of students, so she won't all of a sudden have to go to a huge school population. she starts t-ball in a few weeks, with mommy as her coach. there are 6 t-ball teams this year and parents are needed to help out. my husband would have helped out, but he won't have the extra time to help. he will help out in other ways, like practicing with her and playing with her outdoors. my daughter loves to play those board games, like monopoly junior, among others. she can quite happily play them for quite a long time, as long as someone can play with her. she will play on her own with them, but told me that it is more fun to play with more people, mommy. have a great day, all!
