Exercise and Me...

They say that exercise is addictive. Honestly I could quit this cold turkey, then go eat the turkey. Haha. My favorite comedian said that in one of his stand-up routines. But it really isn't true. I LOVE the feeling you get after you exercise. It honest to goodness is a true mood regulator. I just wish that I could get my body to sync up with this whole ideal. I know I need to do it. I know I'm going to feel SOOOO good when it is done but I don't crave it yet. I have to force myself onto that stationary bike and then the entire time I want to get off...until the last 2 minutes. Then I really crank up the resistance and push myself and huff and puff to the point that I am mentally screaming out the last 30 seconds in my mind. Then 5...4...3..2...1! And done. Ohhh it is serene. Well....sweaty serenity but still...the rest of my day is smooth afterward.

I really do need to get over it and just do it.

That being said day 9 of 20 is down. Go me! =P

    Thanks for the encouragement guys. Still no exercise cravings yet...but I definitely am starting to dread it less, that's an improvement.

    It takes time. I really feel it when my exercise routine is disrupted and find myself dancing around the house or walking endlessly the half mile to the mailbox just to get moving.
