Another update

So let's see, my very well mannered baby is almost 5 months old. I'm still hanging on with breast feeding, but my supply has dropped recently... the only connection I'm aware of is the very slight drop in weight I finally achieved. Seems like this time around my body doesn't want to do both- lose weight and produce milk.

I've been running though... I have some great inspiration! I know and get to talk to an ultra marathon athlete and then I have an online friend who is very inspiring. I would've never thought to put 3 kids in a Chariot until I saw her do it.

So that's what we've been doing, chugging along, the four of us. Up hills, down hills, to parks and the pool.

I started up with a more structured training plan, sticking my long runs on Saturday. So next week is my 10 mile run.

I've got some aspirations. A difficult trail marathon in August and maybe, if I'm lucky enough to find a team, a relay race in July. Somewhere in there I'd like to complete at least a 50K this year too!

And that's where I'm at, fighting to keep milk, drop a little weight and add some mileage. I think it's possible!!!
