I have two goals for myself right now.
1. Finish C to 5K training and run a 5K
I started up C to 5K late this winter/early this spring. I had made it to week 4 and couldn't get over the hump. Something would come up and I wouldn't be able to get my runs in, and I'd start back at the beginning of week 4. For about a month or more. Finally last week my hubby took some vacation and I could run outside--something I hadn't done since my last 5K. It was great! The time went by fast and I enjoyed the change of scenery (except the geese that attack when you go by their pond and their goslings!) :P Today I will be doing day one of week 6. The 5K I have in mind is the same one I ran last July. Today it very hot and humid so it will get me ready for running in July!
2. Do the Jillian Michaels 30 day slimdown in June
I am actually excited for this. A tangible goal with everyday mapped out. It uses the 3 Jillian DVD's I already have. It can be done inside at home, a plus since my girls will be done with school (one tomorrow and the other June 8th). It will help me work toward my goal of looking "good" for the 4th of July.
