Saturday Morning...

Hey Good Morning!

Slept in a little bit today, felt great. My glucose came in at 93 and I'm just banging out a bunch of desk work and then we need to pack up a bunch of orders.

Did measurements again yesterday and I lost 10.5" overall since April and hard for me to fathom, but I've lost 71.25 inches total overall since the end of last October...that's like a 5'9" person....gone for good!

Turns out alot of the intervals I'm doing now in the pool are called Plyometrics...lots of the explosive jumping and quick big movements after getting set and recolied and then exploding over and over...it's like that program you see on tv P90X...but in the water for me...much more supportive on my joints and my ability to do these exercises in the water is 100x greater than if I were to try jumping up and down from a squatted position on the concrete outside...it just wouldn't happen at this point and even it did, I'm sure my poor knees would be squealing with pain. So not only am I an official 'Water Jogger" but now I do Plyometrics too!

Here's a great article on the benefits of plyometrics in the water:

Yesterday Cindy cooked up some of the best soup ever...Muligatawny, a classic Indian curry soup with Chicken, a little potato, carrots, apples, curry spice....awesome!!!
1 Cup
Carbs: 6
Fats: 1
Proteins: 6

Really looking to relax a bit this afternoon, we are going to have 'date night' movie and dinner...I think we are leaning towards our favorite... Chicken Tiki Masala.

Hope everyone has a really great Saturday, Ryan

Okay, the soup sounds YUMMY! How do you make that and do you think they sell ingredients in Wyoming?
We're having a date night too...and after watching World Cup all Day I'll be treated to some time away from football and switch to Rugby for the night. (We're watching Invictus)

Sounds great Ry...thanks for the info on plyometrics. When growing up, we had a small pool in our backyard and I loved doing this kind of exercise...but we just called it jumping or bobbing....Brings back the memories! Have a wonderful date night!
