I am so honored that you chose me as your Spark People Motivator yesterday! :) How exciting!!!! :) I am re-charged and ready to rumble and get this scale to continue to move on down. :) As a part of my updated activity since summer started, and school is out, I now:
Bike to the gym across town 3 days a week, workout for a couple hours, then bike for another hour before heading back across town to my home.
Attend Spin class 3 days a week.
Tried P90x class a couple weeks ago for the full first DVD...I didn't know I had it in me to do that many push ups, and pull-ups, etc. whew.
Started using my stablity ball more to do crunches, and planks, and push ups at home.
Got my dog involved in my activities, and even my husband as well. I have a yorkie puppy who likes to take you on a walk...so I jog along side her a couple days a week. My husband has started biking with me 1-2 times a week. He has a lot of weight to lose ( he's 315 lbs.) and not used to biking for an hour, so I have to give him a shortened version of the biking that I do, so he can succeed, and get a good work out in. It has also helped my family get outdoors more, which my daughter has been really enjoying....especially the new friends that she's been making in the neighborhood.
Going to the park now means....activity time for me. While my daughter is playing, I sometimes use the equipment to help me get in a workout. Those monkey bars sure are brutal. ;) Also, at dawn a couple days a week, I bike to the park, and ride my bike 5-10 laps around all the ballfields, then bike home.
Sad part is...I just bought an odometer yesterday, so I haven't really been sure how many miles I'm clocking each day, but at least from here on out, I'll know. :)
I'm just along for the ride, and I'm enjoying it all the way. :)
