Week 3

I just got my thyroid supplements in the mail last Thursday and started taking them immediately. I know I have made a lot of progress in week 1 and 2 (lost 8 lbs!) However I haven't gotten my exercises in for the past three days and checking my weight yesterday, I gained 2 #'s. Ugh! My weigh in is on Mondays, but that gain was a wake up call. I need to get out there and pound the pavement a little. Not to mention last night was my 20th anniversary and we ate at Chili's. I did the right thing by asking for a take home plate when they brought our salad and I used the oil and vinegar dressing. Half of everything (except the sauteed mushrooms) went into the doggy bag before I started eating. I had half a glass of wine with dinner and didn't eat the bread. Mushrooms are my weakness, I LOVE them!
I want to do better and I will be happy if I just weigh in at 181 again on Monday. That gives me 4 days to make some progress. I really want to lose the weight more than I want to please my tastebuds, so pray for me to stick with this!
