The Day After

Monday, July 05, 2010

I really blew it this week-end. I had good intentions but blew it anyway. I am glad the Lord says that every day is a new day, so this is a different day. Time to start again! I will have to see just how much damage has been done when I weigh again. I haven't had the courage to do that yet. Tomorrow I will check this out.
I tried out a new exercise with the video of lower parts of my body. I will try this again until it gets easier.

Don't worry about yesterday...you are so right-every day is a new day! Just begin again and forget what happened in the past. Go from here and you can make it happen. I know you can do this-I believe in you!!!

I think it takes something like 36 hours for food to go through the digestive system. Food for thought.

We all have those kind of days and then we find it didn't do as much damage as we think as long as we don't make every day one of "those" days! Isn't it wonderful to know God is on our side? Someone suggested once that we read the Bible when we want to eat what isn't god for us. emoticon

Every day is a new day! That's what is so good about our faith and about this program! We just try our best each day and motivate ourselves to do better the next day. You are already doing better by just blogging about it! Holidays are tough especially if you are fairly new to the program! Sometimes they are tough if you have been around for awhile!!! Now that you know you can "arm" yourself with that knowledge and be better prepared for the next one.

Know that I pray for you daily, Jan, for you and for your family. You are especially blessed to be a blessing to others.
God bless you and take care.

I hope your TODAY was better than your YESTERDAY. I think we are all always going to have "days" where we don't eat as well as we should - that's just reality... but the key is to start fresh the next day like you said.
