Pluggin' Away & Connectin' the Dots...

Good Morning!

Up early trying to clear my plate and get over to the pool for a nice morning work-out. Annette and I laid out what feels like a really manageable schedule for summer...she and I will meet atleast 1x each week to go over the data and tweak if needed and have our huddle and I will get in atleast 3 solid 45 min. work-outs at the pool each week along with 3 walks....anything extra is upto me. That feels nice, like a much needed change of pace for me going thru July & August and as we head into late summer/fall I can step back into all my other exercises and just use this hiatus to catch my breath and enjoy the summer a bit...but still keep training.

I got a ton of e-mails yesterday after the local news story aired on thursday night and I'm again blown-away by how supportive people are and how many people are using what I'm doing as inspiration for themselves. When they first asked me to share and document my weight-loss journey...it never even crossed my mind that I would be in some way helping other folks, by just simply being me and doing the work everyday...so I'm still always surprised when I read a message from someone that is getting fired up to do something different in their own lives by following along with my experienes so far.

Cindy & I have a big list of to-do's for the day, we'll see...

Today's meal plan looks like this:

Pre-Breakfast @4am HALF of a BALANCE BAR
Breakfast @8ish 1/2 cup fat free yogurt with 3/4 cup ALL-BRAN/coffee black
Snack@10-11ish 1 Scoop Muscle Milk Light Protein Powder w/Water
Lunch @1ish 3oz Chix Breast on FLAT-OUT wrap w/an Apple + Water
Snack(depending?) 3-4ish 1 Scoop Muscle Milk Light Protein Powder w/Water
Dinner@ 6ish Big Green Leafy Salad w/Blackened Chicken + Crystal Light
After-Dinner Snack@8ish 1 Scoop Muscle Milk Protein Powder + Water

Between running a business, exercising and eating that often...there are alot of dots to connect...but I've been stringing days like this together for awhile now and I'm gonna keep pluggin' away.

No matter what it 'looks' like, Priority Number 1 is sticking with my plan and staying the course. I've had lots of Ups & Downs, but looking back...MY journey has given me the opportunity to unpack all of the inside garbage as I go, so that I can continue making the big changes that'll keep me in the game long haul.
