One Thing at a Time, All Day Long...

Good Morning, it's been a solid week and it's really flown by for me. I'm very much still figuring out and tweeking my daily routine and adjusting my schedule trying to get used to working 2 jobs and eating my plan and getting in my exercise....it's not quite perfect yet, but it feels good that in a short span I'm seeing myself re-prioritizing on the fly and doing very best to cover all the important bases.
The 2nd part-time job quickly turned into a full-time gig, so M-F hammering on that from about 8-5ish and cramming in all of our own business work early between like 4am and 8am and then circling back throughout the day when there are gaps to address anything that needs attention. Cindy has really stepped up and so for now...we're just going to go with what's in front of us and run like the wind.
We both think this heavy schedule might actually allow us to take a break, or atleast be able to really throttle back on the weekends for just 'livin' life/fun time'
The other positive from jamming on this kind of schedule is that it really lends itself to routine and precise time mgmt., so...eating small meals regularly throughout the day is not only key because I need the fuel...but it's easier and falls in-line with my whole m/o of just connecting the dots. So my eating this week has been pretty dialed in and my exercise has been fairly consistent, still need to work-out more often...little mini sessions here in there throughout my day is the new plan with several big chunky cardio/strength training sessions to anchor it all for each week. I've got my swim trunks on already and my water shoes, and I'll work like this throughout the morning until an opening presents itself and then I'll dash to the pool for atleast 30-45 minutes of intervals and water-jogging.
I'm doing my very best, and I'm telling myself that when I start to feel maxxed out. I thought I was busy before, holy smokes...now it's a whole different landscape not just physically with what I actually need to do each day, but mentally it's a whole lot to balance and keep track of. So One thing at a time, all day long...steady as she goes, connecting the dots!
Have a great Friday, Ryan
