Day 2 Getting my points to help the team!

Today was a better day!! I feel like I accomplished alot. Did several loads of laundry, folded and put away. The best thing was earning some exercise points for the team. It was a rainy and dreary day, but I didn't notice. In fact, I went outside and tackle one of the weed patches that I had been putting off. I pulled and tugged and carried and sweated. So I am counting that as my cardio for the day. And it actually drizzled rain on me as I was finishing up. I figured I was alread drenched with sweat, so I didn't even notice the rain.

After my shower I even tutored my grandson as I have been doing.

Still need to comment on blogs so I can earn some more points. See you all on Wed. That is my yoga day so I will have more points to share. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Way to Go Marilyn! I'm gonna try and get 100 fitness minutes tonight after work. It seems that is what has been slowing my progress down. You are off to a great start in tackling this challenge!

    Way to go Marilyn.. Do you use a pedometer? I find that really racks up steps. Gardening is really great cardio.. you can also count your housework as exercise .. But I think you would already know that ..

    Yay for you in getting those weed pulled--and a blog posted! That definitely counts as some cardio, I know my muscles really feel it the day after I've done some. You are doing GREAT!
