training continued

Wednesday, September 08, 2010

So sat down last night with the trainer and reviewed everything I had eaten for the last 5 days... I did really well, I faltered a bit.... 2 arrowroot cookies, one at a time, a bite of a brownie, 2 glasses of wine, and some salad dressings.... not too bad.... I was able to do the 200 squats and 100 pushups, although it took me almost 45 minutes with the warmup....
So diet is to remain the same forever, getting rid of the bodies desire for flour products, can't say I need them, just miss the convenience. I am rarely hungry because I eat 6 times a day and packing my lunch is like lugging a suitcase and takes a good amount of time in the morning. My biggest challenge is at work trying to stay on top of my protein intake an have time to eat it while doing my job as a nurse.... So we are going to try shakes... anyone have good recipes for protein type shakes? that must taste good.
Also he added, shoulder presses with 12 lbs weights, that was after he tried me at 7, 10 and 15 lbs respectively... 15 was a little much... 5 sets of 10 and chest pulls at 55 lbs... 5 reps of 10 and ONLY 50 pushups after the shoulder work and 120 squats, tonight, Friday, and sunday. lol
I have my first ever 5 km run on Saturday, raised 640.00 for breast cancer research.... So needless to say I got 5 days of exercise in this week.... hopefully my weigh in tomorrow will show the results.....
Trial tomorrow is a potluck get together with girlfriends and what to eat??? emoticon emoticon
