Starting out slow.......

I hate to say that I'm "starting" out slow because really I've already started my 'journey' many, many times, but considering that I seem to have fallen back off the wagon a new start seems to be what I need!!! This time, I've decided to start out REALLY slow. So, my new start out goals are:

1. Get in the recommended daily amount of water!
I always seem to do better with EVERYTHING when I'm concentrating on my water intake. Perhaps it's because I drink other, less healthy, things more often when I'm not drinking water (for example....Mochas and Rockstars which I have been HOOKED on lately!). For NOW, I'm not saying that I can't have the other things, my goal is just to make sure that I'm drinking all of my water!

2. Get more SLEEP!!
This is something that I've told myself I need to do for quite some time now but, with a toddler (who is almost THREE!!!!) and a 7 month old, has proven to be very difficult. I tend to put them to bed and then stay up late doing things that I 'want' to do, or 'feel' I 'need' to do. Then, in the morning, I feel exhausted and run down which makes it VERY hard to feel any motivation to workout! I want to be able to wake up feeling refreshed, like I can take on the day AND even workout (preferably WITHOUT any caffeine!)!

So, there you have it....or there "I" have it ;) My goals....I know I can do it!

    The sleep challenge has been really good for tips on getting better sleep! And definitely good goals! You can do it!

    YEs, you can do it and you will!!! I always start over with the water,too, b/c I feel lighter and healthier when I get in all my water. I also tell myself that I can have the cappucino or whatever it is only after I drink x amount of water. Usually, I don't end up drinking the other.

    I hear you on the sleep-I let things go around here and follow my baby(5 months)to bed. I need sleep to be a good mommy.

    Great goals! They may be "slow" goals, but perhaps they are the most important so they're the "smart" goals! Good luck!
