Ok, I thought I had this problem solved. we had two dogs. One was my daughter's-completely housebroken, wonderful temperment but would run every chance she got. If you tried to squeeze out the door she would run you over. I worried for her safety. The other was dumped on us. The owner's Mom developed cancer and because of the treatments needed a place to go. It was fine for a while then the owner left for the military promising us he would find another place for the dog. She started messing in the house and running away with the other one. Anyway, they disappeared and ended up on a farm and they wanted to keep them. Yay! I was ecstatic! Well, here we are 2 weeks later and apparently they are now getting out the fence and taking off and they want us to take them back. I feel like a lead weight was just dropped back in my lap and don't know what to do...

Wish I could help you. I would say sorry but you need to find another home for them if you dont want them. But thats just me. I have 2 dogs and they do something to make me mad like chew on something they are not suppose to and I want to get rid of them.....then they look at you and give you the sad look. Plus my son wants them to stay. If I had my time back I would have only taken 1 of them for a pet.....but I guess we live and learn.
