Derailed by a cold, ugh!

Thursday, November 04, 2010

So now I have missed several days of my exercise program. I just don't have the energy when I get home. But this cold can't last forever. I really felt like I was making progress when it hits me and now I am right back where I started! I had actually lost 3 pounds and it seemed to be the real thing, not just water, now I am right back at 150. *&%#$#&&*%$#!!!

I really like doing the Jillian Michaels workouts, it feels like a real workout, sweat and all. I was doing the 30 Day Slim Down rotation and I was on day 16, now I feel like I need to start over at the beginning. I don't know how much ground I have lost by taking almost a week off so far.

As soon as I feel like it I will start over from the beginning. I was really wanting to lose a few pounds before Thanksgiving! I did manage to avoid the donuts in the lounge this morning.

It hit me today, I finished what I was doing (I work at home so for me it was fairly easy) took a vitamin C and some herbal tea and hit the couch. This was after 2 days of no work outs due to scheduling....

You will get back up and back on track, it will be okay, you can do this!!!!

Good job on avoiding the donuts. You don't want to overstress your body by exercising when you're ill. Hang in there as you say, it won't last forever and you'll be back on track. Take of yourself.

Agree w/Will--ignoring the donuts is an accomplishment. If your nose is congested, food doen't have as much taste so you may eat less. Hope you get health back and are able to get into your routine!!

That's makes me so angry when I'm sick and my routine gets stalled. I definitely empathize. And I'm here to corroborate: being able to avoid the temping donuts is a big accomplishments. :-)
