My neighbor has been in the hospital. I have been walking her little dog -- even jogging just a little with her. I have never felt coordinated enough to jog, and I have weak knees. It feels good, though. Really good. I wish my landlord would let me have a little dog. It sure makes exercise more fun.
When my inside dog died, I missed her so much. That is one reason I'm overweight. I walk the dog but not myself. I had two outside dogs but they don't walk well on a leash. My Hubby doesn't any more inside dogs so I got creative. My kids want to earn extra money. The neighbor goes to work/school so the little dog is home all alone all day during the week while Hubby is at work. The little dog comes to our house for Doggie Daycare. Its the best of both worlds. I don't have an inside dog. I don't have to pay anything regarding the furry baby. The kids get paid to walk her. I get all the love she has to offer. I also get to walk her if I choose to.
Can you walk her when you are home? Can you offer to? I have another neighbor dog I borrow when I'm stressed out. She listens better than the little dog does. She comes to my house when it storms outside or her boy gets to rough with her. Neighbor furry babies are good to have around really. I LOVE them as they were my own. If they go to get rid of them they will call me first then I will talk Hubby into it because I have already trained them. LOL
