Getting ready for Hawaii !

Tuesday, February 01, 2011

Here I am - smack dab in the middle of a diet competition at work... I've organized a 'biggest loser' weight loss competition with a handful of co-workers - and this Saturday my wife and I are headed to Hawaii ! Neither one of us have ever been there....so to say we're mildly excited would be a big understatement...

I'm doing pretty good with my current eating/exercise - and now hawaii.... that is going to be probably the biggest test I could imagine.... I've been doing great eating wise for the past few weeks - I'm actually down almost 15lbs now which is really motivating... clothing is fitting better and such...

Even my coworkers are all doing great - everyone is losing weight which is great to see....!

so soon - my posts will be about a trip to hawaii - which I'm very excited about!

Good for you on the 15# and taking off for Hawaii! I'm trying to take my family at the end of the year. Six of us! It will be a really, really big deal for this family and I hope I can pull it off. I'm hoping you post lots about your trip so I can learn a few tips! I guess if I were in your shoes I would make myself a bargain. Eat special once daily and careful the rest of the day or something like that. In my opinion, there is room in life for splurging from time-to-time and for me that includes food. I'm sure many disagree, but that's what's cool about being American, we can have our opinion and state it lol! Take care and all the best to you!

Oh I love Hawaii, we went several years ago on a second honeymoon. And I did gain but only about 5 pounds and I really over did the eating and Mai-tais Yum. But I took it off again within a couple of weeks so I dont think it was too bad. Lets face it hawaii is worth a couple of pounds. Have fun, you dont get to go there all the time. enjoy, you can take care of it later.
