My best friend also got pregnant after just under 3 months and she could not believe it. She relied on the fact that most (ha!) women cannot get pregnant while breastfeeding and it took them a year of 'trying' the first time...

But you'll get used to the idea and it will be fine. She found the last month of her pregnancy a bit harder since she was very tired. But I moved in for the last week and stayed for the first two weeks afterwards to help. She could have done it without me, but accept help.
After those two weeks she was in control and, now, she loves it. She figures things are easier in twos and even debated adding a third one! But strollers for 3 babies aren't common and her husband almost fainted. Lol.

Just remember to be active (she did yoga and ball exercises) and use tho boost breastfeeding gives you afterwards!

i know the feeling! my 3rd child was 11 months old when I found out I was pregnant again! agh! not what I really wanted, but hey it happens! it can be overwhelming at first, especially since yours is younger than mine were but its getting better. My youngest is now 4 months old so him and his brother will be 18 months apart. When I think about it now, it seems like it will get easier.. The older one does seem to love on his younger brother but sometimes gets to be too much but I think they'll be best buds. And yes, spark does have a seperate website for pregnancy moms as well, just access like you would the dailyblog or recipes :-). good luck!

I have 3 that are 3 and under.. My 2 youngest are 15 months apart and I love it. I think going from 1 to 2 is harder then 2 to 3 was. Just don't give up on working out, remember that your not really eating for two until your breastfeeding. Pregnancy only needs to add 300 extra calories a day per trimester. I highly recommend prenatal yoga, and exercise ball for discomfort in the third trimester!

Congratulations!!!! I used to babysit 2 boys who were EXACTLY a year apart & my best friend growing up was born in January 1989 & her younger sister was born in November of '89. It's very do-able & you'll do great!! Good luck & just try to keep your focus.

BabyFit might have a group for moms & babies close in age. They could give you some great tips! The boys I babysat had a good routine in place with the first one, too.

Again yay! I know it can seem overwhelming, but really it won't be when she or he gets here! Routines help, naptime is mommy's regain her sanity time here in my home. LOL! Seriously i always liked having babies close in age. When they are small it's nice because if you forget something for one's diaper bag you always have extras in the other...as they get older if one forgets lipgloss and another has chapped lips they share...ya know what I'm saying. LOL. Babies close in age just go hand in hand most of the time. So you shouldn't worry too much. :-) Also, if I knew then what i know now I would have done so much differently. EXERCISE, don't stop. Your muscles post baby will thank you for it and your mentality will also. LOL. My biggest thing was just to love yourself. The fitter and healthier you are the easier carrying around your growing mini me will be and also labor...labor is so much easier if you stay healthy. Listen to your body don't ignore it. AND above all love and cherish EVERY moment of being pregnant, even if your hanging over the toilet puking LOL, enjoy it because you know the awesomeness of whats going on inside your body and someday you will be there holding back your daughters hair while she's learning all about it. LOL. Pregnancy and motherhood is thee most cherished thing ever! You are so lucky to be going through it. With that said ...I'm going to leave you with some very funny words from a great comedian...ok it's a fusion from a couple comedians but it's still funny

I really don't get why they call wimpy guys pussies....seriously, the womans vagina or better known phrase for it "pussy" is the toughest thing ever. It's the only thing that can bleed for a week straight and not die, it can be poked, proded, rubbed and slapped around and still get pleasure, and thee most strongest thing it does is it squeezes something the size of a watermelon out of a hole the size of a lemon, but bounces back to it's pre lemonesque size so the woman can sit on all her power..seriously you know that we sit on our power right? Yep, we can pleasure and reproduce with our power. Torture and punish, be naughty and nice....so yeah were the stronger sex, yet small wimpy guys are called pussies.....hmmm...I just don't get it. This brings us to the phrase "dudes got balls" usually said when some guy is being all macho and does something totally cool right??? yet, the testicles , better known as "balls" are like the achiles heels to men. You don't even have to use force like kicking them there...all you have to do is flick, sometimes even look at the ball region wrong and you can drop a 300 pound man in a second! I think the geniuses who came up with these phrases really need to invest in an anatomy lesson, even basic high school health class gives you the gist of this right? So are you with me on the fact that those two phrases need to be switched around? I think most will agree...LOL

LOL, did you like that? I hope so and i hope your smiling now, not fretting so much. HAve an awesome day and take care! emoticon

Congratulations! Mine's 18 months old and I'm TTC, so can't help you with closeness between kids, but you're already in the baby mode, so maybe it'll just flow.

Congrats! Wow...we had our son's the same day and I can't even think about being pregnant right now : P
I wish I could give you some advice but I gained way to much with my last! Just try and stay focused. emoticon emoticon emoticon What a blessing!!!

Congrats! My two are 20 months apart so not as close, but still close. It has been easier than I thought it would be. The biggest thing is that your life is already in family mode. It was a big lifestyle change for us to go from no kids to a baby. The 2nd one just seemed to fit and now I can't imagine him not being here. You'll be fine. And just keep walking and drinking lots of water. I can't give great advice in that category. Pregnancy = carb overload for me :( I hope you do better!!!

Yes, I feel for you. My two youngest are exactly 1 year and 3 days apart. Now they are 9 and 10. I stopped nursing the newborn at 5 months because my growing belly with the infant was in the way and both were not getting adequate nutrients because the other was taking away. It's really fun having a just walking baby as I was trying to nurse the newborn.

My midwife kept telling me to walk 3 miles a day at least 5 days a week and to not drink juice. I will be happy to lend an ear or shoulder anytime.

Congrats! After the 3rd year it will get easier!
