Life is Short, Appreciate Yours!

Friday, February 18, 2011

Good Morning!

Just checking in...it's been busy

Everything is as it should be I'm guessing, but Cindy & I could use a little less stress. I wiped out several weeks ago and really sprained my knee, Cindy just went in and came out of the hospital after getting way dehydrated and not catching it in time. Today, everything seems to be steady for us...so that's what's most important. Life is precious, I know that is so cliche...but when I shake loose all of the external distractions and really drill down to what are the most important priorities in my life, everything is very clear. Life is Short, do your very best to take care of yourself and those around you...the rest of it is just gravy.

My food plan is rolling along pretty good, not doing nearly enough exercise...but Spring is coming and hopefully my knee will be feeling more solid sooner rather than later and I can again start building up some decent momentum.

Still connecting the dots and fighting the good fight...

Have a smooth friday, Ryan

Hey, Good thoughts. Keep your chin up and keep moving. I have looked at a lot of things about just incorporating extra movement through the day. Stretching at your desk. Walking around each hour and such. I really can't spend more time than I do at the gym but I can do these little extra bursts.

Maybe you could find some exercises that you could do that wouldn't hurt your knee? Get on a roll now and you will just take off come spring.

You are so right about what is important in life. We all too often forget what is important and stress over things that won't matter later on.

Small set backs can happen, when your knee feels good enough you will be back up in no time!

Glad to hear everything is going better. Take care of yourself and your knee. I fell in October (playing disc golf with the kids of all things) and that threw me off my plan for two months. Be careful.

    Have a great weekend!

So happy to hear she is well and back home. Spring is right around the corner and the exercise will come back slowly. As for now, just relax and enjoy the weekend together.

    Take care and stay healthy

You are so right...and life passes so fast! Enjoy life. Turn negatives around & whistle, sing & hum!! LOL
