I say forget the gym if you don't like it. Otherwise, you will feel bad and feel like you failed. Or, dont strive for the perfect gym workout (cardio and ST for X amount of minutes, etc). Stick to what you find more enjoyable/less painful. If its a 20 minute walk every day- so be it! Come up with alternatives even if they are not your ideal goal as the feeling of success and accomplishment is what will keep you going on the long run.
One day at a time! You can do it! Good luck. 3723 days ago
Some people suggest putting your equipment in the lockers before work and going back to ''collect it'' in the evening and getting in a workout then. You could also try switching it up again and do some swimming, join a few classes or get some fitness games on the Wii. I'm itching to try ''Just Dance'' and ''Just Dance 2''- it looks super fun. I find sing star good for working up a sweat too, but I'm pretty unfit.
Hope that helps! 3725 days ago
