If I were you I would start measuring pronto, specially if you are exercising a lot. You may have heard it before but muscle weights more than fat. I have experienced myself weight gains even though, I exercised the day before and did more than usual. While my scale went up, my centimeters went down.

Don't lose courage and read this article for more information:

Until this week, I hadn't lost a pound in all of March and May. It was hard! Finally I made some progress this week. Focus on the Healthy changes you are making and not the scale and that will help. One pound down is better than one pound up! emoticon

Everyone has made some very good comments but I completely agree with ATA1119.
We all understand that it is frustrating not seeing the scale budge but it is more than that number that defines you.
I understand sacrificing certain foods for a time being... especially if they are your food triggers but try to remember you are creating a balanced healthy lifestyle for yourself, something that you can do for the rest of your life. That does include eating foods you enjoy.
Let me tell you something. One of my favorite things I used love to do was go to buffet restaurants. I hadn't been to one in a long long time and finally decided to go with my mom one day. Those foods that I used to love the taste of, I couldn't stand any more. They didn't taste as good as I remember. Right then and there I decided that if I wanted something I would take a bite... if I ENJOYED it I would eat it. If I didn't I wouldn't eat it or spit it out. It wasn't worth the calories if I didn't enjoy it thoroughly.
You can do this. Try to ease up on yourself a little. Perhaps you are trying too hard. Are you meeting your calorie needs for all the exercise you are doing? As strange as it may sound you have to eat to lose weight. Otherwise your body will think you are starving it.
It's good that you are posting your frustrations here.... that way we can all help you. Hang in there...

Be proud of that one pound! Your weight is just a number, but that number shouldn't define you. You are so much better than that number ever could be. But, it will add up... so own it! : ) It is something to be proud of. emoticon

Oh, how many times I have lost "just a pound". But, those pounds add up! Do you feel better? Are you happy with the progress you are making, toward non-weight goals? There HAS to be more than one measure to your success, or you will get discouraged, and give up. Keep up the good work, and keep on pushing!

Don't get down! Long story - I went overseas to work. I weighed 186 and was a size 20...I had to run in the morning as part of my workday, and I ran in the evening to ensure I could keep up with the others in the morning! I didn't weigh myself, I ate really well (had to drink water and someone else cooked all our meals and made all the healthy foods for us)...After 4 months, I was down to a size 13 - I looked awesome! I was so excited to weigh in! And...Still 186. So I realized, don't always let the scale dictate your weightloss journey! You are probably replacing fat with muscle...Keep up the good work, a pound lost is still a pound lost! That's awesome! Maybe introduce some weight training (I don't mean go to a gym and use weights if that doesn't interest you)...I use Bodyrock.tv (it looks scary, but it isn't and it's just an example)...Squats, pushups, tricep dips, etc. Don't worry, it will happen just keep going!

Don't get discouraged. It doesn't always show on the scale. I know that the numbers going down is a big motivator but you could be building muscle so the scale is showing an accurate picture.

I went and bought a fantasic scale, it gives your weight, body fat, bone mass, and hydration level. You should try it to get one. Maybe you'll see only 1 pound down but you might see the body fat going down.

Also make sure that you are not overtraining or undereating. I don't know the technical aspects of it but I know it's not good and it doesn't help with weightloss.

Good luck. Stick with it. You will see results!!

At the beginning of a journey like this sometimes it's a slow start. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It took years to put the weight on so it will take some time to melt it off. And don't discount the building of muscle. As you work out, you build muscle, which helps burn fat. Sometimes the scale tricks us because muscle weighs so much more than flab. Keep at it though, don't quit because if you persevere, you can reaching any goal.
