Farmers Market Thursday and I feel fat...haha!

Thursday, May 12, 2011

I should have brought my camera and took a couple pictures...oh well I will have to next time. The farmer's market is finally here and Nathan, my hubby, and I walked to it after dinner. It was gorgeous out and we got Nathan a chocolate chip cookie that was all over him...haha. It was supposed to thunderstorm all day to and not a drop. So I will have to use all that patience that I was given for another day although Nathan definitely pushes it while I am trying to get ready to go out with him. He is VERY impatient and we both have a bit of a temper....arg! Then we walked through the historic part of town drooling over all the beautiful old homes. It was a great evening to end a poopy day.....

Do you ever have one of those days were anything you put on just makes your muffin top poof out and your thighs look like they are taking on a life of their own?? Well that was my day today and my feet are tired from all the walking but I went out in the morning with Nathan anyway and then again, even though I really did not want to, to the farmers market. I hate going out when I feel ugly. It is something that I really have to work on because I feel that way a lot and Nathan does not care if I think I am fat one day he just wants to go outside...haha.

I hope everyone is having an awesome week and is having lots of skinny thoughts!!

Mel, I totally understand your feelings! I have been working on that attitude for a long time now, and it does get better. So hang in there!

I LOVE looking at old homes, in historic downtowns. They have such character and presence about them.
Enjoy the day, enjoy the walk, enjoy Nathan, enjoy your hubby, enjoy the Farmer's Market. And do it again and again and again because you deserve to have a good evening.
Keeping your emotional state healthy will help with keeping yourself physically fit.
I too have days where I dread going to the closet full of clothes just to stare and stare and stare. I finally put something on........change, try again, change......you probably know the routine. And yes Hubby and my boys are dressed and ready to go.
My other problem is I hate to do laundry , so sometimes my "favorite comfortable and somewhat look good on me clothes" are still dirty. My problem not yours!
Keep on walking, and wear comfortable shoes.

Way to go on overcoming your thoughts and still going on. That actaully takes more will power than you know and shows how strong you are.

I have those days rarely, but then again, I am too negligent with my appearance. I usually hide behind big clothes and unshapely things (including my husbands shirts). I think if I actually tried to look a little more female, I would be very sad about my body.

    Hugs to you!

I love going to our locals Farmer's Markets. We live in a rural part of Southwest Alabama, so we have several that are open year round. The prices are usually a little higher than the grocery stores, but I'd rather go to the FMs since the quality is usually better and much of it is from local farms. :)
