Day 117 - Go Platinum Racers! (& my new Bugg & Dr appt update)

Tuesday, June 14, 2011

It is time for BLC 18! Yeah, I'm excited about this challenge. I love this kind of thing to keep me going. 10 week challenge, with my goal to be ending below my teenage son's weight. That is roughly 20 pounds. I can do this!

In other news, I went to the doctor today and my blood pressure is still high but not quite as bad. They are upping my meds (blech) but I am no longer on activity restriction and can go back to full exercise. Woot woot! Go back in a week and a half for gallbladder check and likely ultrasound. No fun!

In other, other news I got my bodybugg and I am having fun playing with it. I can't wait for tomorrow when I can really try it out at the gym, and Wednesday when I get to Zumba with it and answer the question of how many calories it burns for me.

I think I am officially breaking free of the black cloud. Though I was never doing bad on my health stuff really...I did figure out that I was either overtraining or not eating enough, because my weigh loss boosted while I was on exercise restriction. Now to find the balance!

I can understand that one I really enjoy my Body Bugg. Lately I have been so stressed about the upcoming trip that I forget about it but I know it works.

Great news that your BP is heading in the right direction, Im sure it will be even better at your next appt.
Enjoy working out with the body bugg, I used to have one and it was so much fun tracking how much I had done, and it made me want to do more exercise.
Good luck finding the balance emoticon
