Life is not always good for some.

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

I'm so very stressed right now. While at work, I can't even get a bite of food down for a number of reasons. Let's just say that sometimes the behind the scenes shenanigans that go on at a work place can be horrendous. Happening at a school makes it more difficult to ignore. The stress I'm experiencing makes it impossible for me to choke anything down.

Finally coming home, I find that one of my dear friends has left a message on the phone telling me of the death of her nephew while he was on duty as a police officer. This is not a common occurence here in Canada. Now a young mother has lost her husband and two young children (a 2 year old daughter and a 9 week old son) have lost their daddy.

The 15 driver and his passengers have just changed the course of their lives. What a tragedy.

My job stress pales in comparison to this. Hug your loved ones and thank your police officers for their dedication to their jobs.

Hope by now your stress has diminished considerably and the tragedy has settled within you as something out of your control, but so sad nonetheless....

    Have a good weekend ahead. Stress-free! ☺

Oh Jan, I'm sending lots of love and hugs your way! Be kind to yourself and if possible go do something relaxing as an end-of-school treat. emoticon

Thanks for the reminder....my husband used to be a police officer (before I met him)....don't think I could ever be married to one!
