I have found that food keeps me busy in the afternoon. Apparently, I get tired and so begin thinking, "What can I eat?". I don't know if it is just to keep me occupied so I don't think about taking a nap, or if it is just a distraction. I have figured out that chewing gum is enough to make my brain think, "I am chewing, so no need to think about what needs to go in next". I don't normally like chewing gum, and never really have, but it certainly is helping me in this weight-loss struggle. Now, my problem is mainly trying to remember not to chew with my mouth open or smack!! I am looking forward to seeing the scale read 169.9 or something of that sort. I can hardly believe that the scale is on the lower half of the 170's now! But I am very excited about it. I'll keep chugging along and praying that God will continue helping me to lose weight. I know He will. L
