Feeling the Fat

Monday, October 03, 2011

Well, the past months have been quite the struggle with my chronic fatigue symptoms.
While, I keep living my life and doing the things I enjoy; I don't get to do it nearly as well or as often as I would like.

I have been forced by my body to take naps in my car during my lunch breaks instead of going to the gym and getting exercise like I normally like to do. I have also had to rest and go to bed extra early many of my evenings after work; instead of gardening or riding horse or doing some sort of farm or household chore.

My weight has not changed; but I am starting to feel flabbier in my tummy and my thighs & butt do not feel like as much muscle.

Hopefully it is just my imagination, but I do not think so.

I cannot wait to go back into some sort of 'remission' again. My diet is whole foods, not processed... mostly organic, so that helps me alot; otherwise I bet I would have gained by now.

The headaches and sore throats have been the worst; but the fatigue that comes along with is a bugger too. Joint and muscle aches seem to be lowering somewhat finally.

I sure hope that October is a much better month.
There is so much more to do in this life than to have to spend so much time resting.

Lets all have a fantastic October!

I'm late reading this blog (I've been MIA!), but my gosh, Lori... You are always such a trooper! I can't even imagine what you go through each day with your CFS, but you inspire me because it does NOT sound like a walk in the park.

Here's to October being a much better month for you!

So sorry that you are going thru this. It sounds so awful. I hope your continued healthy eating will have a positive affect on your health soon. I'm sure it is already.
Love your new page background. So pretty.
Thanks for stopping by my blogs. I don't always have that much energy. It comes and goes. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! kim

Sorry to hear that you are going through this. From personal experience, I kept a journal and it helped me find out things that triggered my Fibro, RA & MS. Perhaps writing things in a journal could help you.
