On March 30th, I had open heart surgery. I had 2 valves replaced, my aortic and mitral valves. I can't believe how much better I feel. I hadn't realized how sick I really was. I just thought it was life - tired and slow is how you're supposed to feel when you are in your 60's. I was really wrong. A heart rate of 183 and shortness of breath got me to the doctor and on to the hospital.
It has taken me some time to realize that God has given me a 2nd chance at life. My goals are to eat healthier and exercise on a regular basis. And most importantly I've realized that this is my new lifestyle for the rest of my life.
So glad you had a successful operation and all is going so much better for you. Thank God you had this done and you are doing so much better. God bless you and keep you strong. Eating healthier and staying active each day is a lifestyle we all need to have. All the best to you and so nice to see you here again. hugs, Irish Ei 1635 days ago
