After 19 months I have decided that my body does not want to lose any more weight. From now on I am going to continue my life watching what I eat and continuing to do the right thing for me. But I am not going to worry about the plateau. I will be happy with my loss and if I lose more it will be a bonus Dr. Choi is correct about not giving me a fill. I am hoping that with this resolution I will be able to sleep better. emoticon

This was such a lovely blog, I guess that's where we all should be one day :- ) You can be so proud of yourself that you are in that point.

Ilene, as the others have said you have done so great and should be very proud of your progress. And our bodies sometimes flatline for a while and then surprise us. But just keep on doing what is right.

My body found a happy place weight-wise and stayed there for about a year no matter what I did. I just had to re-balance my mind, quit worrying and obsessing so much and let it go. Do what you know to do but don't stress it. Keep eating right, keep exercising but don't worry what the scale says. Eventually my metabolism shifted and I've started losing again doing just what I'd kept doing. When your body's ready it'll move down again.

    Good for you Ilene!
Your body wants to rest and stay at where you are. If it decides to lose more then as you say Bonus!
You are beautiful and have lost a lot of weight. As long as you are healthy and happy. That is all that counts.
