water exercise

Wednesday, March 07, 2007

there is a pool here at the park. Maybe when it gets warmer I should try some water exercises as the article sent today indicates. Sounds like a great form of exercise. I hate pools but it would be a great way to cool down in this amazing southern heat coming. It is a tiny pool but i could do exercises rather than laps. It has a 6ft section too i think so i could tread water too. there is a bay here but i am scared of the alligators and the vibrio bacteria so I want to stay out of the bay...

I need to remember to try water exercise when it gets warmer...

Pool is the way to go! You can do almost EVERY exercise in the pool - Great resistance! Main requirement for next house - POOL. (Husband has recently started second job - playing scratch offs - in the hopes of obtaining it for me!) Palacios is not so great water wise (or any other wise for that matter) but a little ways away, in Rockport, it gets better and about 4.5 hours away in SPI, the water is actually really very very nice, also very clear.

As to "when it gets warmer", it is past time to pack up your winter wardrobe - IF we continue to have a spring (a rare occurrence here for sure) it will not last longer than six weeks. BTW, I'm just up the road, in Boling. (DT Houston is 55 minutes from here.)
