28 day challenge

I signed on for the 28 day challenge today. I have been becoming more and more sedentary over the past few months. I'm working from home these days and rarely leave the house. When I went for a walk the other day, i got winded going up the hill outside my house, which is not even a very steep hill (although it goes up for a long way, in my defense hehe).

Walking up to the shops and back is a bout a 1 mile circuit. I want to be able to do that without feeling breathless and uncomfortable. It's only a mile! I feel like a total couch potato!

Also, I still have about 15 extra pounds hanging around after having the baby. In fact, I lost pretty much all of my baby weight in the first couple of months after CC was born, but then I started steadily gaining it back after I went back to work and started having the nanny chase CC around while I sit at my computer all day.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting motivated. Our house is very small and I feel like there's no place I can go to have privacy. I don't like working out in front of people, especially the fit, 21 year old nanny, but I totally need to get over that.

One step at a time. Baby steps. The goal is to just keep moving.

    Goal for tomorrow: More fruits and veggies than today. Which means more than one fruit and more than 2 veggies.
