Remember me....?

Thursday, December 22, 2011

I wanted to stop and visit with each of my Spark buddies, but time does not allow for that.

I am still here - lurking at best - but here...and not 100% lost yet.

I have not done much of anything since the arrival of the puppy - and I need to figure out how to - guilt for leaving is horrible....I run errands and come right home...bad bad bad....

I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful holiday season and a prosperous new year....

Look for me in 2012....I will be back....

    Heeeeeeey Robyn!!!

You and I together.... I felt the same way... no dog, but other stuff and I really had a challenge because I accomplished a goal that took so much out of my busy life... I didn't know what else to reach for at the time and so much took over that time I had used to put toward the half. I *think* I am starting to get some ideas for a goal for 2012. Nothing set in stone, but looking back at all that I did in 2011 I feel proud of my accomplishments that I would like to reach for something else in 2012... just not sure exactly...

I get how you are feeling. We are half marathon running buddies. We will make it to whatever our next goal will be. It will happen for you and for me... I have been thinking about you. Hope you had a wonderful Holiday... love ya!!!!

I think spending plenty of time with the puppy now will help you all in the long run anyway. Don't regret any of the time spent. Just enjoy!

It's natural to feel guilt for leaving the puppy. It's an *infant*, and it's dependent on you. As it gets older, it will get more independent. You'll be able to crate it or restrict it in an ex-pen and get out for longer periods.

Enjoy him -- they're not puppies for very long!

I was just saying the other day how I wished I could have my dogs with me all day because I just miss them. Unfortunately, that's not really going to happen, but I do understand how you feel! It was nice to hear from you again - I hope you and the family have a wonderful Holiday!

    Hi there Buddy!
Take advantage of the time the kids have off of school. Crunch will be happy with the boys while you get out of the house for a bit. Maybe this will help you & him get used to it.
    Merry Christmas, Robyn.

I know you'll be back - I have faith. It's a struggle for all of us to fit things in - sometimes life takes over and right now is your time for that to happen.

It's mine, too, you told me earlier that you were really struggling since the Half. I've been really struggling since our vacation. Both big events for us... My journey starting in January will probably begin with me being almost 30 pounds heavier than I was earlier this year... there, I said it! I put it out there - out loud for myself to see and you to hear... 30 pounds! UGH!!!

BUT, I will not give up - I will put on my big girl panties (literally) and start again. I hope you will join me.

And, I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season.
    See ya around soon!
