Made Zero Christmas Treats This Year

Monday, December 26, 2011

Over the past 15 years I have scaled way down on baking in general and also holiday baking.
This year I made zero.

I think this had more to do with not being able to "make" the time for it; but I think going gluten-free in September probably had a little to do with it as well.

I think the kids and grand nieces & nephews probably missed it more that my husband and I; although not really complaints, just an empty spot of sorts. Maybe that is more on my part than theirs.

Many of my husbands side of the family are eating healthier now, so our gathering there was an incredibly delicious smorgasbord of mostly healthy food. How nice to have a day to indulge a little extra; but not have the bad effects we would have suffered, if we had not had all the healthy choices.

I have been having very tired with very cold spells and also shakiness quite often. In the past few months I have had only 3 headaches that only lasted a few hours; whereas before it was pretty much an every day all day long occurrence. Also, my muscle & joint pain is considerably better and quite a few days I have had with no pain.
I am hoping this tired, cold, & shakiness is nearing the end of my list of symptoms as I march on to becoming free of Lyme disease & its coinfections & chronic fatigue.

I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas with many Blessings as I feel I have had.

Soon it will be 2012.
May 2012 be a Very Good Year!

That is great that some of your pains are subsiding, and hopefully go away entirely!!! Wishing that by this time next year your Lymes and CF will just be a bad memory. Hugs.
