My first week.

So I have been living a healthier lifestyle for one week now and I am down 3 pounds. While I am happy that I lost, I know that I could have done better.
I ate pretty well this week. When I went out to dinner with friends I got...wait for it...A SALAD! That has never happened before...ever! I was so proud of myself haha. I have also added fish (salmon, tilapia, shrimp, flounder, etc) to my diet three night a week for dinner. It is actually not too bad, it is amazing how many ways you can prepare fish (I will have to post some of the yummy ones I find along the way)!
I wish that I would have done better as far as exercise goes. I only made it to the gym 2 times this week. I ordered a Zumba workout DVD for the days I can not make it to the gym, and I am going to look into classes that my YMCA offers. My goal this week is to boost up the amount of exercise I get.
