My new little man, Mason Dean
He was born premature on January 28, 2012, but he is doing so well now. Just over a month old, he is almost sleeping through the night and starting to interact with us when we talk to him. He wasn't due until next week on the 10th :) But he is happy and healthy.
I gained about 18 lbs with him, and after the birth I was 210lbs.... I am starting to get back to normal now that I am not on bed rest and whatnot, but it hasn't been easy to go from no movement to full fledged Mommy of 3! I am now down to 204.6, so it is slowly coming back off. I have been working out for a week now and eating well of course. I'm trying desperately to be back at 197lbs by the 18th of this month (My 6 year anniversary), and then my goal is about 5lbs a month ( but I'll take more if it happens, lol). I'm just barely not fitting into my clothes from before my pregnancy. I wish I had kept some of my fat jeans from when I was losing weight because I have had to buy a few new pair to get me through for now, lol. Oh well. My healthy weight is 170 lbs, so from post-baby to new-body, I have 40lbs to lose. I feel like that is both a daunting task and an easy one all at the same time. 40 seems like a big number to me, but it isn't quite 50 which makes me feel better (haha, I know I'm a bit of a nut job sometimes... I have to find my silver lining, right?).
So, I'll be honest... I don't know how often I am going to be on here. I have said in the past that I would update often, and then I don't... and because of that I end up feeling like a failure despite the fact that I still eat right and workout (how crazy, right?). So, I am saying now that I am working hard and eating right, but I won't likely post my foods and blogs all of the time. I have three kids, very little sleep, college classes, and a goal to achieve... It's amazing that have any time for the computer at all!
I hope that you all have been achieving your goals and working hard since I last checked on you, and know that I am routing you on even when I am not here to talk about it. Suzanne, Teresa, and Mary... I have thought of you often and hope you are all doing amazing :) Maybe someday soon we can all catch up!
