Almost recovered! (apology and a NSV)

Monday, April 16, 2012

Aargh, I've been a bad butterfly this last week. Had a cold for about 3 weeks but kept exercising and doing well until last week when I developed bronchitis.

Yes, I finally went to the Dr. (after taking my kids twice already for ear infections and persistent coughs) - and was given an inhaler and codine cough syrup. After a couple of days of "productive coughing" I'm definitely feeling better!

I had a few days of 70 minutes of cardio before this - so PROMISE I will get back at it as soon as it does not send me into coughing convultions! I even got a heart rate monitor which I found very motivating - and vinidcating since i've been dancing around infront of the TV whenever I got a chance but did not really know if I was significantly raising my heart rate - I WAS! Yay!

Oh, and the good news? When I went to the Dr's office found that my blood pressure was in the normal range since i had my first son 6 years ago! Great to find out that my health has really improved due to weight loss and exercise!
