I LOVE FOOD!!! Yup, I said it! My big changes since finding Sparkpeople are portion size, reading the labels, and looking for better alternatives.
I don't like to give anything up. Not just with food, with anything, so this has become one of my quests. Finding reduced fat, fat-free or even a comparable substitute for things that I love to eat.
Cutting back on what I eat in one sitting is helping. I add a small snack in between meals, or pretty much whenever I get hungry. Always have nuts in portion bags and granola bars in the purse and car. Also make sure to have gum and sugar free candy for those times when I'm not hungry, just want something sweet!
I have always preferred fruit and vegetables to meat. Still do. Now I eat more meat to balance things more.
That is pretty much the only changes that I have made.
I think you have made some great changes! I like the idea of having nuts in portion bags and granola bars in your purse or car for whenever you are hungry and want a snack. I think I will start doing that. Thanks for sharing your changes in eating habits! Keep up the great work!! 3309 days ago
