feeling very negative this morning...

Monday, April 02, 2007

I am having a terrible morning so far. I have a horrible ringing in my ear, we have no propane for 2 days so I had to go to the park showers to take a shower. I absolutely detest this when I have to work today- I am not happy and not starting the day optimistically. Not sure how to turn it around. I have a bunch of jewelry orders to fill but I am in the office today from 8am-8pm!

Very tired of this situation.... I hate money. I hate obligation.

Sorry- I know none of this has to do with my weight loss. I am just so frustrated and grumpy. We'll see how the day goes....

You know something, Sailingchic? When you wrote that this "stuff" has nothing to do with your weightloss, I totally disagree. When I start to vent and the emotions start to take me where I don't want to be or go, I know that my old habits were to bury those feelings with food. I am trying to learn new ways to cope with those normal feelings, frustrations, etc. I don't want to eat my feelings. I happen to think that my money issues have everything to do with my emotional difficulties. It's all connected to manageability, living within my means, reward and deprivation. I live on the edge a lot. I have only just begun to admit that. I am a risk-taker. But I pay an emotional price for those risks. I am starting to choose more and more situations, circumstances, options, that minimize those risks, rather than maximize them. It makes for more peaceful days, no matter what. Endorphins-releases contribute much to this process. A very honourable substitute for sugar. It sounds like you are leading an exciting life. Enjoy it and have a great day, Ta, Reggie
