It is Hurdle the Hump Wednesday!!!

Yesterday was Turn It Up Tuesday so I hope you turned it up! Today is Hurdle the Hump Wednesday. So with that in mind let's visualize a race.
Imagine you are dressed in a new bright colored fitness outfit with comfortable running shoes. You are preparing for your race by stretching and taking some
deep breaths. The man at the starting line says, "Runners take your marks." You get down into the blocks and lift your head to look down the track to the first hurdle. Then you hear..."On your mark, get set, GO"!
You take off like a flash and head toward the first hurdle. As you approach the first hurdle, you see that it is your favorite chips and dip. What do you do? Do you stop
to eat it or do you hurdle it and continue the race? Hurdle it girl!!! You decide that the race is more important than that junk food and you hurdle it and head toward the next hurdle. You feel GREAT!!
As you approach the next hurdle you see that it is a bad day at work! Oh no! Do
you give up the race and go home or do you hurdle it and move on??? Hurdle it girl!!!
At the next hurdle you see that there is a nice bed and fluffy pillow calling you to lay down and be comfy! What do you do? Do you give in to the comfort and take
a nap or do you hurdle it??? Hurdle it girl!!! Reaching the end of the race is more important!
You are really fired up now and can see the finish line! Then you see that the last hurdle is a Chocolate bar! Okay I know you are thinking you can't hurdle this one but YOU CAN DO IT!!! I know you can. Just remember all the other hurdles that you made it over! You weren't stopped by them so you can make it past this one and make it to the end of the race and VICTORY!!! Hurdle it girl!!!
The finish line is straight ahead and you are running toward the tape. You feel great and are excited that you made it over all the hurdles! You raise your arms
in victory as you tear through the tape! YOU DID IT!!!
That is what this journey is like. There will be hurdles to jump. We have to decide whether we will give in to them & get tripped up or jump over them and keep
running the race.
Ok I know sometimes we get tripped up along the way. When that happens will you just give up the race or will you pick yourself up and keep going???
I plan to surround myself with people that will encourage me and motivate me to keep going. I know that they will talk me down from a bag of chips and won't beat me up when I get tripped up. They will cheer me on and even run with me. They will help me turn it up and push me to go further!
This isn't a here today gone tomorrow diet! This is a LIFESTYLE!!! We are living life and it is time to live it to the fullest and healthiest!
