oh boy-

Sunday, April 08, 2007

I did so bad yesterday I didn't want to even write anything. Icky COLD, rainy weather and lack of money had me munchin' all day inside the camper. It was the anniversery of my brother's death yesterday and my great grandmother's health is failing. I am not feeling very good right now. Brett is getting ready to leave on a seven day sail to Florida, too and I have never been away from him so long.

I find money really affects my eating habits. Money stresses me out more than anything and I am seeing the pattern now... I need to focus on changing that pattern to eat healthier and not stress about what I can't change.

Today I want to make sure I eat fruit today and all my water. I need to do strength training today too since I can't really do anything outside.

I just saw a quote that you might like. I am a vegetarian, but I thought it was an apt quote nevertheless. It is: "If you chase two rabbits, you don't catch either." Worrying about money is a bottomless pit. I have started to keep my money issues in one pocket, and my health issues in another. I also try to keep my eye on the ball. My health is no. 1. If I am staying focussed on what is important, I believe the money issues will eventually get sorted out. Those issues are a reflection of my life's unmanageability. Just as when my house was always a mess was a reflection of what was going on inside my head. I don't like to give advice, but I do believe that if you keep your eye on the ball, your life will unfold as it should. Remember, your health is no. 1. Sorry to hear of your brother's death. My sister died 5 years ago March. It is tough losing a sibling. I enjoy your blogs. What a great life you lead. Ta, Reggie
