August Recap + lots of food pix!

This was supposed to be 'Amazing August!' I like to claim a happy month at the beginning (September will be Super September!)



I did meet my goal weight for the month, but did not maintain my 2-ish pound 'ahead of the goal line' that i'd been maintaining. And I had several spikes from... guess what? The weekends!!! Why on earth do the weekends derail me??

I was able to meet my -20lbs mark! (And with a new hair cut and color! :))



And I even got down to 206.5 - which was my old 1/2 way (-50 lbs in 2008) mark. Here is the 2008 comparison photo:



And this was me 08/28 (still in these size 16/18 pants though!)



I tried to spend a little more time in nature this month... We went hiking a few times, and even camping!









I learned that you really can put your green onions in water and they grow back!! Try it!!!



I got a new blender when mine broke.

    Well done reaching your goal. Weight does tend to go up and down over the course of the week. I try not weighing myself until Wednesday if I've had a heavy weekend. It usually stabilises by then!
