This is me saying no, all thanks to Adzy86

Friday, November 16, 2012

Well today is Friday. And it is always my treat day. I've lost 2lbs this week, so I didn't feel bad about the healthier options I chose (even though it was a takeaway): seasonal vegetables in garlic sauce, with boiled rice, vegetable spring rolls and a handful of chips. Instead of a large coke, I chose the new small bottles they now sell in my local Tesco. BUT I then went a little bad and brought a bag of mixed sweets. Brought them home, had a few and thought no, I don't fancy any of these, and thought about Adzy86 on SP and how we've agreed to be good for 40 days... so I went into the kitchen with the bag, weighed them, then took them round next door for their young lad to have. Sadly they aren't in, so they are sitting in the kitchen, untouched for me to take them round in the morning.

I feel pretty emense for getting rid of them, and although I slipped slightly, I turned away from them, and after 4 hours they are still sitting in the kitchen. Today is a winning day for me.

Hope your all meeting your goals

Kat x

I find things without nutritional labels harder to deal with.

I KNOW they are high calorie crap mostly, like bakery goods, sweets etc... but the fact you cant read the label and be horrified at it often means you dont get that OMG moment and put them down.

Try looking at the bagged sweets instead and being horrified!

i am trying to be mindful about not buying the low nutrition foods. i tend to look at them or grab them out of habit and then have to but them back or out of sight,
