Holiday Maintenance

An exciting and also a very dangerous time is coming, Christmas Holidays. It is exciting all the parties, visiting, leading up to the grand day Christmas. It is a whirlwind of activity and also of high calories laden foods.

Most of my teams the challenges are over and won't begin again until January. It is nice for a break but without a plan I can sabotage all the hard work I have done for the last 12 weeks. So I have devised a plan.

1. before parties, I will have a nice healthy snack of hummus and veggies or a salad with lots of lovely extra cucumbers, radishes and tomatoes
2. exercise in on my calendar, I have scheduled it in
3. small plate, smaller portions with veggies taking up most of the plate
4. there is no forbidden food, but moderation is the key

I know that I take the weigh off slowly and that it can come back on so quickly it brings tears to my eyes. So this season I am entering it with eyes wide open.
